My Angry Birds Addiction

Hello, my name is Breanne, and I’m addicted to Angry Birds.

A few weeks ago, I went on an all night bender playing Angry Birds because I was determined to beat all levels with 3-stars AND find all of the golden eggs.  At 4:30am, I succeeded!  It was a proud moment!  I even woke Eric up to tell him, though he was less than impressed with my accomplishment.

The next day I decided I needed to get 3-stars and all of the hidden fruits in Angry Birds Rio, but there was one problem….my thumb cramped up so bad I had to ice it.  Yes, I sustained an Angry Birds injury!  Thankfully within a few days my thumb was back to normal and I successfully completed my mission with Angry Birds Rio.

About 24 hours later, my bloated sense of accomplishment was demolished when Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio opened up new levels!  I couldn’t even enjoy my success for a full 24 hours.  Now that’s just mean.  But, being the champ that I am, I completed the new levels too.

But what about Angry Birds Seasons, you might ask?  Well, I’m working on it….and not too happy with the new Picnic level.  You can only play one game every 24 hours.  Look Angry Birds….you’re not the boss of me!  I play when I want.  I don’t need a 12-step program or speed bumps to slow me down.  Just give me my freaking birds and go away.

Okay, maybe I do need a 12-step program.  I took a nap this afternoon and had a dream that I was running around my neighborhood trying to find stuffed animal Angry Birds so that the neighborhood kids wouldn’t get them first.  That’s sick.  But I’m not the only one…check out these creations and merchandise by other Angry Birds fans:
